FCS SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE is a Washington Court House, Ohio-based nonprofit dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. We provide need-based and merit-based scholarships to high school seniors, college students, and adult learners pursuing higher education or vocational training.

Our committee is run by educators, community leaders, and professionals who believe that financial barriers should never stop a motivated student from succeeding. We partner with schools, community organizations, and donors to maximize our impact every year.

FCS Merit Scholarship

Awarded to high school seniors with outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community service. Four awards per year.

Merit-Based

Deadline: January 31, 2026

$3,500

Community Impact Award

For students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and civic engagement. Six awards available.

Service-Based

Deadline: February 28, 2026

First-Generation Grant

Supporting students who are the first in their family to attend college or university. Focus on access and equity.

STEM Futures Scholarship

Encouraging students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.

Who is eligible to apply? +
